Recent Happenings:
- Took Handsome to his first competion in September 2009, a DerbyCross at Sharon White's Last Frontier Farm. He jumped double clean.
- In November, Handsome completed his first Recognized Horse Trial at Rubicon Farm finishing 4th in his divison with a Dressage score of 31.6%, clean Stadium and .4 time penalties on Cross Country.
- Again in November Handsome completed his fourth competition in a Short Course Event at Loch Moy. He finished 1st on his Dressage score of 28% with a double clean jumping round. Go Pony!
- Handsome completed his first competition of Spring 2010 at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA. He finished 5th with a rail down in stadium and clean XC.
- Handsome finished tied for 2nd (but with a 3rd place ribbon, a little too fast XC) at the Loudoun Hunt Pony Club Spring HT April 25, 2010.
- Handsome scored his first win at a recognized HT May 1, 2010 at Difficult Run!
- Handsome won another recognized HT at Rubicon Farm June 6, 2010. We pulled one rail in Stadium but followed that with a double clean XC. With this win, Handsome earned his USEA Gold Medal at the Beginner Novice level and is tied for 3rd in the National Standings for our (my) age group.
